Here's what some of our satisfied customers have to say:
I have no previous experience with Bosnian cuisine. Now that that's out of the way: I love this place. I've eaten here twice, and my wife and I have tried the cevapi and the gulash. Both were delicious, inexpensive, and very satisfying. The owners are friendly and welcoming. I immediately felt at home here. Highly recommended.
First time Bosnian food! It was awesome! I am a huge meat water and I loved how much meat they gave Us. At the end my friend n I were so filled at the end we had to
order dessert to go. My friend loved the music and we had a great time.
On to the food! I had the cevapi. The bread was so soft! And the meat was very meaty. It would have been 5 stars if there was a bit more spice/kick.
Tiramisu: Well... To tell you the truth, I only found this place because I searched tiramisu online. I have to say... It was amazing! I loved how much cocoa they put on top. It was pure comfort. I only wish the portion was bigger :( it was literally gone in 3 bites. I will definitely visit again just for the tiramisu.
Service: The customers and waitress were nice! I love places like this.
I can't wait to go back again!
"We were referred to Balkan Dining by a friend and were extremely pleased with the product quality and customer service received. We definitely plan to buy from Balkan Dining in the near future!"
"This is as authentic as it gets. Right down to the friendly staff and patrons, the glasses, the tablecloths, and the food- it is like walking into a typical little place anywhere in what was one Yugoslavia. Specifically and proudly Bosnian, Balkan Dining has some of the best Ćevapi I've ever had - small spiced sausages served in fresh, delicious, tender pita bread, with onions and ajvar on the side. The burek is fantastic, as well - like a thicker, denser phyllo dough stuffed with meat, potatoes, cheese, mushrooms, or spinach. The baklava was a very delicious and simple square of honey and walnuts, and we'll be back for the poached apple with walnuts." by Alan B.
"Ordered čevapi for lunch today with my coworkers it was so delicious!!!!!! Great food!!! by Samra S."
Baklava - lots of honey, bite and flavor. If you're a fan of Baklava, it's one of the best I've had in Buffalo.Tiramisu - House made delicious creamy icey goodness. Now I know why the Italians call it a pick me up. I'll tell you that if you're having the worst day of your life, just come here, order a coffee/tea and a tiramisu...and magic will happen. It is so damn good, not too sweet and such a layered deep mixture of flavor. I was so jealous I only had a few bites!Such an affordable place for lunch or dinner. I can't wait to come back! Bravo!
